Please rate, comment, and subscribe. I hope is work for you. Also can download SP2 here: FIX: Hey, I already hear that you hate the music and can't hear my voice.
Well, I give you the steps below! Download all things you need (SP 1, SP 2 optional, cracks if you download SP 1, download the SP 1's crack and vice versa 2. If you want to upgrade your FSX to SP2, you have to install SP1 first. Your internet connection doesn't effect your activation etc. Unzip all cracks 4.
Copy and replace all the.dll files to your FSX main folder. (I will not guarantee if there is a fatal error because you not back it up first!
Just backup 3 dll files from your FSX main folder!) 5. Enjoy the games! I am sorry if you hate the song, I know it.
I make it when I am 10 and I didn't know anything so much about making videos etc. I am very sorry.
SP2 has the same functionality as Acceleration, (without of course the additional aircraft and missions) according to Phil’s. The big tickets items are fixes to Multiplayer functionality and DX10 support, in a “Preview” mode. Here’s some unofficial ups and downs for SP2.
Note that I have not confirmed all these issues myself, and I’ll add to the list as I recall, or am made aware of more issues. Fixes (most of which are taken from of Phil’s). DX10 support, “Preview” mode: legacy scenery may not work properly (Details ). Some users report signifiantly improved performance, was about the same. flight list is alphabetized (yay!). Com1 radio sync fixed in Shared Cockpit.
Transponder Code update info now sent from inc/dec transponders (now reported as not fixed). “random” spawn-in air problem fixed.
direct connect now remembers last IP address. autogen batching is tweaked, resulting for some in increased performance.
This will help in areas where a lot of custom objects of the same material are authored and complements the SP1 batching work. Hi, I have fsx on windows 7 installed and working fine. I also have the acceleration expansion disk and would like to install it. I previously installed sp2.
And when installing the expansion it prompted me to remove sp2 from fsx. I think I have to uninstall microsoft fsx sp2. Is that correct and will it leave the fsx installation intact on my computer along with any addon scenery, aircraft ect. If so do I then just install the expansion? I assume all will be the same after its all done. I am leary of loosing my addons.
Thanks Ralph. Hi Jon: Thankes for your help. I was informed that the acceleration pack causes many problems so I give up on it. But when I did stop it and tried to start fsx again. I got another error message informing me that visual model could not be displayed aircration582sl red.
Anyway there was absolutely no graphics, a black picture. All else was ok. I assumed that the acceleration pack did it. I did not know what to do then. I figured I should install fsx sp2 again. When I was installing sp2 it ask if I wanted to stop acceleration pack install.I thought it was was stopped. That fixed it.
Hey all, Has anyone had this happen, and is there a fix? I have been trying for 2 days now to get the FSX SP1 update in FSX. I have even deleted and reloaded FSX two times. Nothing works. I have FSX on an alternate drive. I have tried placing the SP1 update in the FSX folder as well and run it from there.
It says its installed, but the planes (addons) are still messed up. This has never happened before. I have run the Flight1 Registry fixer also hoping that it might fix this issue. Many thanks for any advice. Hey Tom, Yep, FSX SDK is installed and amazingly works fine. (Maybe thats the problem, he he). But, for some reason, SP1 refuses to update.

From what it seems to be doing, I think 'it' thinks it has installed already, as it ends pretty early and says 'Finished', so it must be finding a tag somewhere that says it has already done this and ends the installation early. My day of rest today, which I need away from the computer or I may overload and freak out. I may try reloading all of FSX once again and see if that will help, (though I have already done that). Hey Khaos, Roger that.
I believe that it was the efforts of Aces to make the game to run on Windows without a CD in the drive to keep people from pirating the game. However, their approach seems to have been a little overkill and has caused many people alot of problems when reloading the system. I remember being on the Beta team and asking them if they could make FSX a CD-less run-game where we didnt have to have a CD always in the slot like the basic FS9 was. I pointed out that many Microsoft products (such as Windows and Windows Offic) and countless other software addons that are payware and famous 'do not use a CD in the drive to run'.
I think Windows Office could have helped them out as I have never had issues with that program before. Anyways, lol. No FSX SP1 update. No one at HQ to ask. It appears to be no fix or way to repair this. I can only hope that redeleting and reloading this 'might' enable the SP1 update to work.
One guy said I need to go out and buy a new i7 Quad core computer, that he did and that fixed everything for him. I replied, what if I go out and get this computer, and this happens with it also? He must've been made of money.
Well, at first I thought it was because I'm a fanatical AMD user, then I thought it was because I upgraded to a Phenom II X6 1100T, then I thought it was memory issues, then I thought it was video driver issues, then audio drivers, then updates. Nothing I did, tweaked, wiped or replaced resolved the problem.
The aggravating part is I have a nearly identical ( although quite a bit less powerful) PC with an AMD Phenom II x4 that FSX is running just fine on. The ONLY and last thing that it could possibly be, for me, is that my gaming rig is running WinXP and the other PC is running Win7. I have other flightsims and games that refuse to run properly, if at all, on my systems just because they were coded back in the days where they were graphics card specific (ie: 3DFX). Funny, I would've thought that when nVidia and 3DFX 'merged' there would be some backwards compatibility. So, once again, I feel your pain and frustration and I wish you luck. If you do get it to run, PLEASE enlighten me (us) with your 'technique'!!
I might give that a try EMatheson! Right now, I have a side job that is now behind on its deadline because of this fiasco. By the way, on my rig, this is a fresh install of Windows XP 32. Brand new, a about 2 weeks old now, still finding things that need installing, like Skype. I am faithful. It will happen. Thanks gang for all the advice and input.
Massively appreciated. Khaos, FSX, from what all I have learned, heard from high ups and pros, it was just not finished and it wasnt able to run fast because of programming. Its not designed to work on super computers, so in buying super computers, it still cannot handle superthreading (or what ever thats called) and 64bit systems. That is why people were spending $5,000.00 USD back when FSX came out, to run FSX with, and it still had frame rates of 20 to 30 FPS. Its the sim, not your computer. If Aces had the resources and time, it would have ran much better, in my humble opinion. Windows do not know how to manage a gaming studio, or at least FS.
I apologize if anything I am about to write is a repeat, but I recently had a similar problem. My problem started when I used cc Cleaner to 'fix' my registry. After that my system became unstable and I ended up reinstalling Windows XP (SP3). I have multiple drives on my rig and I keep my C: drive free of everything but system related files. That way, if I have to reinstall the OS, I won't loose much of my collected data. Once I reinstalled, I tried to re-install FSX and the FS SP1.
They completed, but the simulator would not run. In the end, I had to remove all traces of my original install manually, the uninstaller was not enough. I removed my FSX folder where the game was installed and (as I had saved and re-copied) the Flight Simulator X folder(s) on my C: drive under My documents.
There are also hidden FSX folders on the C: drive. If you have ever tried installing the SDK you would know about those as well.
They are located in C: Documents and Settings Application Data Microsoft FSX. If you remove all traces of your original FSX and then try to install from scratch (even try using an install folder name that you have never used in the past), you should be successful. If not, then I would expect that either your XP is missing some required files or your registry (even if new) is out of kilter from all the install/re-installs you've already done.
